Customer Service Representative

LOCATION:
- Denver, CO office setting
TYPE:
- Direct Hire, Full Time, Day Shift M-F
PAY:
- $50K-$60K Base and eligible for commissions
Benefits:
- Bonus - Annual bonus up to 10% of annual salary based on both company and personal performance. Paid out once per year
- Commission - CSR role is eligible for both a CSR commission on existing accounts and sales commission on new accounts. Earning potential uncapped. Paid out twice per year.
- Health, Dental, Vision - Company covers 90% of premium.
- 401 K - Employee can contribute immediately. After 1 year, Company will match up to 4% of Employee’s salary.
- Profit Share - After 2 years, the company can add up to an additional 7% of Employee’s salary as a profit share depending on company performance
- Training - Annual budget allotted for each employee to receive outside training for employee growth and development
- Home - CSR will work from home every other Friday
DAY TO DAY:
- Coordinates with technical sales, manufacturing, R&D, financial services, systems administration and marketing to ensure that customers orders are clearly understood and issues addressed.
Inquiries:
- Provide information on pricing, specifications, availability, samples etc.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, pricing, terms and delivery
- Research current trends in manufacturing and assist with subject matter/recommendations and updates
Order Entry / Follow Up:
- Process customer orders from start to finish, documenting in computer system
- Obtain product descriptions, requirements and prices, and any additional credit information or applications needed
Invoicing:
- Audit price, volume and terms to ensure accuracy
- Process invoices, paperwork reviews of national and international customer orders
Additional Tasks:
- Customer Service working closely with production
- 25% of time developing new sales opportunities through calls, following up on leads, converting leads to opportunities through new sales
- Weekly reviews of orders, shipments, payments etc
BACKGROUND OF CANDIDATE:
- Education:
- 2+ years of college in business or technical education
- Technical Degree is helpful
- Experience:
- 3+ years of recent experience in customer service in an office setting via face to face, email and over the phone
- Reliable and dependable
- Cold calling and new customer development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Experience or training in Sales/Marketing is a plus
- Experience with manufacturing and production
- Great communication skills in person, over the phone, virtually and written
- Ability to analyze data and make suggestions
- Extremely organized and detailed with strong documentation and grammatical skills
- Self starter able to proactively start and complete tasks
