Shift time - 7am-330pm

Pay Rate - $80-100k

Job title - Human Resources Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Consultation & Guidance:
  • Provide HR support and guidance to line management on a wide range of issues, including performance management, employee relations, and organizational policies.
  • Trend Analysis & Solutions:
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics in collaboration with the HR Director to develop tailored solutions, programs, and policies that align with organizational goals.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting thorough and objective investigations, tracking outcomes, and ensuring proper resolutions are implemented.
  • Legal & Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to legal requirements and regulatory compliance in daily employee management. Partner with the legal department when necessary.
  • Performance Management:
  • Provide day-to-day support to line management on performance management issues, including coaching, counseling, career development, and handling disciplinary actions.
  • Workplace Environment & Productivity:
  • Work closely with both management and employees to improve work relationships, boost morale, and enhance productivity and retention rates.
  • Policy Interpretation & Support:
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Oversee the execution of employee engagement programs and events to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Training & Development:
  • Manage the administration of training programs, ensuring successful outcomes and continuous development of employees.
  • Sensitive HR Tasks:
  • Administer sensitive tasks, including providing reasonable accommodations, investigating misconduct allegations, and supporting terminations in accordance with company policies.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Act as a liaison for employee benefits, ensuring all warehouse employees have access to benefits information and assisting with enrollment or waiver processes.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Maintain OSHA logs and oversee workers' compensation claims for the warehouse.
  • Recruitment Support:
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including background checks, interviews, onboarding, succession planning, and performance evaluations.
  • Staffing Agency Coordination:
  • Collaborate with staffing agencies to fill open warehouse associate positions as needed.
  • Exit Interviews & Data Analysis:
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee feedback through surveys and questionnaires to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with training, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
