Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Program Coordinator to join our team. This role is key in facilitating the participation of customers in renewable energy programs, specifically focusing on solar and battery storage initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a technical aptitude for working with web-based platforms and Microsoft applications, and a passion for energy efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities: Training & Support:
- Provide training on the Energy Efficiency Collaboration Platform (EECP) and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Jabber, and Teams.
- Support internal staff and external customers in navigating and utilizing web-based platforms for program participation.
Customer Liaison:
- Serve as a primary liaison between customers and the Energy Management Team, ensuring smooth communication and participation in renewable energy programs.
Program Application Processing:
- Schedule inspections and analyze renewable energy program applications, ensuring they are processed through completion via the EECP.
- Oversee the entire process for renewable energy applications, ensuring adherence to timelines and regulations.
Net Meter Application Management:
- Process net meter applications for various customer rate classes, coordinating efforts with the Renewable Program Manager to review complex data and secure approvals.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely meter set processes as outlined by tariffs.
Customer Inquiries Resolution:
- Address and resolve customer and solar installer inquiries related to solar and battery storage programs via email and phone.
- Provide first-level resolution for complex customer concerns, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.
Program Support and Troubleshooting:
- Handle customer inquiries regarding customer-owned solar and battery storage programs, offering solutions and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Daily Operations:
- Spend 100% of the workday interacting with customers through emails and phone calls while processing applications for renewable energy programs.
Customer Service and Account Management:
- Manage move-ins, move-outs, payment arrangements, trouble ticket entries, and meter check requests for renewable energy program customers.
- Respond to customer email requests received through the company's website for Renewable Energy programs.
Billing and Program Reporting:
- Establish billing for new Renewable Energy participants and report program participation levels.
- Resolve pre- and post-billing exceptions related to complex residential and commercial account configurations.
- Lead initiatives to detect, analyze, and resolve billing exceptions related to service orders, devices, or program issues that prevent accurate billing.
- Develop and maintain procedures for managing exceptions in photovoltaic (PV)-related processes.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Assign and maintain Recorder Identification numbers for all Net Metering Accounts.
- Collect, edit, and maintain accurate data to resolve discrepancies and irregularities for the Load Research Team and other software applications.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and experience with web-based platforms and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Jabber, Teams).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively.
- Experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy programs, or similar industries is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Experience in billing processes or account management is a plus.
