IP Supervisor - Rehab Services - FT - Days at Haywood Regional Medical Center summary:
The IP Supervisor for Rehab Services oversees daily staffing assignments, providing direction and support to ensure quality service delivery. This role includes training and mentoring staff, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with policies. The supervisor plays a critical role in resolving complex issues while maintaining a high standard of care within the rehabilitation team.
Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with
performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
Minimum Education
Graduate of an approved program of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Licenses:
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy in the State of North Carolina.
Minimum Work Experience
Five (5) years of clinical experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
