Project Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Position Summary

I am searching for a Project Manager for a leading Architectural Sheet Metal Manufacturer and Subcontractor in the Los Angeles Area. You will take responsibility for proactively, profitably and safely managing all communications and aspects of your projects from start to finish. You will have opportunity to work on large, high-value projects that are broad in scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete understanding of project information including scope, specifications, contracts, drawings (IFC and Shop), budgets, scheduling and resource planning.
• Ensure that turnover to operations from sales / estimating is complete and compliant with policies and protocols.
• Manage all contract samples and submissions for approvals ensuring they meet specification.
• Provide Site Instructions, CD’s, Change Orders etc.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in managing complete projects for major construction projects ($1 - $10 million).
• 3+ years' experience / exposure within the glazing industry with an understanding of key suppliers.
• Understanding of profitability by major construction functions.
