Background & Purpose of the Role:
Our client, a Media Agency, is seeking a data-driven and results-oriented Walmart.com PPC Strategist to join our Bentonville team. This role focuses on planning, executing, and optimizing pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across Walmart’s advertising platforms to drive maximum ROI for our clients.
As a PPC Strategist, you will manage multiple clients' campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and develop innovative strategies to exceed assigned KPIs. You will be at the forefront of the ever-evolving ecommerce advertising landscape, leveraging advanced analytics and optimization techniques to deliver exceptional results.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do:
As a Walmart PPC expert, you’ll manage campaigns across Walmart’s Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, ensuring peak performance and profitability. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams and clients to develop strategies, analyze performance, and continually refine campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Full understanding and execution of Walmart PPC products, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
- Plan, manage, and execute Walmart PPC campaigns for multiple clients simultaneously, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance metrics such as ROAS and CPA, and suggest/exploit optimization strategies to exceed assigned KPIs.
- Create, analyze, and interpret performance reports, providing actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Leverage analytical and reporting tools to maximize campaign effectiveness and profitability.
Client Management:
- Manage a diverse book of business comprising multiple brands/clients, ranging in size from small to enterprise-level.
- Establish regular communication cadences, including weekly client touchpoints and quarterly forecasting presentations.
- Present performance results and optimization recommendations tailored to each client’s objectives.
Strategy and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop cutting-edge media assets that enhance campaign performance.
- Participate in budget allocation discussions across various channels and platforms.
- Maintain strong relationships with media and technology vendors, staying informed on industry trends and tools.
- Experiment with new bidding, ad placement, and management techniques to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and leverage campaign risk and loss pools for testing and experimentation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Walmart PPC products (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display).
- Advanced proficiency in campaign management, performance tracking, and optimization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and conversion tracking.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a large book of business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to clients and internal teams.
- Familiarity with analytical tools and platforms used in ecommerce PPC campaign management.
- Previous experience with Walmart’s advertising ecosystem is highly preferred.
- A proactive, adaptable attitude with a focus on continuous learning and experimentation.
