We are seeking a Commercial Loan Operations Associate to join an excellent Private Equity firm client of ours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

• Process and manage commercial loan transactions, including funding, payments, rate changes, and modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan records in the loan servicing system.
• Monitor and manage loan exceptions, including past due payments, maturity dates, and covenant compliance.
• Perform loan reconciliation, research discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports related to loan portfolio performance, delinquencies, and other metrics.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding loan servicing inquiries.
• Collaborate with the credit and underwriting teams to support loan closings and portfolio management activities.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing, operations, or a related role within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan products, documentation, and servicing practices.
• Proficiency in loan servicing systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
