A leading private equity firm focused on the software and technology industries.


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented Service Desk Contractor to join our team in San Francisco. In this role, you will provide exceptional onsite IT support to our employees, ensuring seamless and efficient use of our technology infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality technical support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to laptops, desktops, iPhones, iPads, and enterprise applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Zoom).

  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide timely and accurate assistance to all employees, including executives.

Maintain a positive user experience: Deliver exceptional customer service with a "can-do" attitude.

  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all levels of employees.

Support IT operations: Configure and deploy Windows laptops.

  • Create and manage user accounts.
  • Assist other IT team members with ongoing projects as needed.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of conference room technology.

Maintain a strong technical foundation: Stay current on the latest technologies and industry best practices.

  • Continuously develop and enhance technical skills.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience supporting Apple devices (iPhones and iPads).
  • Basic understanding of computer networking fundamentals (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, DHCP).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a "can-do" attitude.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with C-level executives.


Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to work onsite in our San Francisco office full-time.
  • Must be available to work occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a hands-on technical assessment during the interview process.
