Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and subject matter experts to identify, analyze, and document business requirements, goals, and processes.
• Process Mapping: Design and create detailed workflow diagrams, process flows, and data flows that accurately represent the current and proposed business processes. Use tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar to visualize business workflows.
• System Design Documentation: Develop system-level documentation that outlines the functional requirements and system architecture, including UML diagrams (e.g., use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams) to illustrate system behavior.
• Functional Specifications: Write clear and concise functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team, ensuring the system being developed aligns with the identified business needs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating the translation of business requirements into technical language and vice versa.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role;
• Strong experience in gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and documenting systems;
• Proficiency in creating system and workflow diagrams (e.g., process flow, data flow, UML diagrams) using tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear system requirements;
• Strong understanding of business process modeling methodologies and frameworks;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban);
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity.

Work format

Hybrid 3 times a week in Coral Gables.
