*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as Emergency Rooms (ER) and Urgent Care facilities. The X-ray Technician will play a crucial role in patient care within our Level I and Level II Trauma Centers.

*Duties*
* Perform X-ray examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are captured for diagnostic purposes.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
* Maintain and operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
* Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
* Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including sonography and nuclear medicine procedures when required.
* Document patient information accurately, including medical history and imaging results.
* Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the imaging department.
* Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and best practices to enhance patient care.

*Experience*
* A degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.
* Previous experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred, particularly within ER or urgent care settings.
* Knowledge of physiology is essential for understanding patient conditions and imaging requirements.
* Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques, including sonography and nuclear medicine, is a plus.
* Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is highly desirable.
