Travel CT Technologist - $2,905 per week at Brigham & Women's Hospital summary:

The Travel CT Technologist operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images while delivering patient care according to departmental protocols. This role requires certification in CT, a Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license, and a minimum of two years of experience in radiologic technology. The technologist must also maintain continuing education units (CEUs) to comply with state licensure requirements and the ARRT standards.

    Job Details
  • Level 1 trauma and Siemen’s experience is required
  • Operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information according to departmental protocol
  • Delivers patient care under scope of license / training
  • Calibrate and verify the operation of all equipment to be used during the work day
  • Performs venipuncture for purposes of contrast administration under the direction of a radiologist
  • Attend staff meetings, in-services, and maintains appropriate CEU's in accordance with Massachusetts State Licensure and A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) requirements
  • Transport and transfer patients using established procedures according to departmental guidelines
  • Uses independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative under pressure in a variety of situations when performing patient exams
    Job Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology
  • Possess a current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
  • Registered or eligible for certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent is required
  • 2-3 years experience as a Radiologic technologist preferred with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses
    Schedule Information
  • Rotates within department, divisions and all off site clinics, by shifts as required and needed
  • Assume responsibilities for on-call coverage and to remain flexible in all shift coverage and overtime situations as necessary
    Unit Specific Information
  • Must maintain appropriate CEU's in accordance with Massachusetts State Licensure and A.R.R.T. requirements
    Additional Details
  • Submit a color photo taken in past 6 mos. No selfies, no filters. Plain Background. Symmetrical headshot, shoulders up, look straight/no tilted head. No eyeglasses.
  • Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification, as required for the position. Within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
  • N95 - within 365 days to start date and updated annually. No fit testing(initial or updates) can be done onsite at any location.
  • A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization (WHO) OR an up-to-date COVID vaccine if a primary series was never received or completed is required.
