Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Long Term Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Shift: 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM (1 hour break) Key Responsibilities • Provides nursing care and procedures according to physician’s orders and nursing protocol. • Administers medication according to the physician's orders and protocol. • Evaluates possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication. • Performs BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and other emergency responses. • Participates in emergency response setting. • Mental Health monitoring. • Supervises the application of nursing techniques required in care and treatment of patients. • Advises subordinate staff in policies and procedures. • Observes employees as they perform tasks to ensure efficiency in work activities.
