Chicago Swim School has been making waves since 2005 and is seeking a part time Human Resources Assistant, working 10-15 hours per week. Chicago Swim School has a fast paced environment that provides exceptional service for students and parents. We are people who love kids, teaching kids to love swimming!
The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR department in various administrative tasks and functions. This role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and compliance with HR policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
We WANT YOU to be the Human Resources Assistant at Chicago Swim School. A swimming background is not required.
Responsibilities Include:
* Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews. scheduling in-person interviews, and communicating with candidates.
* Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including documentation management, state reports,
* Employee Records Management: Help maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
* HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, providing support to employees and management as needed.
* Benefits Administration: Help with the administration of employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
* Compliance: Assist with maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations, including record-keeping and reporting.
What You Must Have:
* 2 years relevant work experience
* Warm, welcoming, and engaging personality.
* Demonstrate ability to quickly collect information, analyze, and summarize for Senior Leadership Team.
* Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills.
* Excellent technology skills, pick up quickly on new software and know Google Docs, Google Sheets, Word and Excel.
* Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Willing to travel between locations in Mokena and Arlington Heights.
* Pass a background check.
