  • BLS

    Job Details
  • Provides holistic care for post-operative patients, including those who have had orthopedic, bariatric, urologic, or general surgical procedures.
  • Assesses patients, including physical, psychosocial, learning needs and barriers, and discharge planning.
  • Establishes nursing diagnoses based on assessments and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Plans and updates care according to identified diagnoses and needs.
  • Implements individualized care based on nursing care plan.
  • Assists with activities of daily living, medication administration, skin assessment/wound care, and pain management.
  • Operates biomedical and patient care equipment, assists with procedures, and teaches patients and families about healthcare.
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of Med Surg experience - REQUIRED
  • Pediatric experience - preferred
  • EPIC experience - REQUIRED
  • Willingness to obtain required certifications and OR license if not active at time of submission.
    Additional Details
  • Certifications don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain.
  • COVID vaccination - no longer required.
  • 16 hours unbillable OT is 1.25x BR.
  • Client can cancel 4 shifts per 13 weeks.
