  • 36 hrs/week, Variable 8/12 hour shifts evening/night shifts Monday-Friday and every other weekend between the hours 1900-0730.

Supports and/or engages in Shared Governance at University Hospital.
    Job Requirements
  • Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
  • Telemetry - Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).
  • Must have experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc).
  • ICU experience with adult populations required.
  • Must be willing to work with IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed.
  • Traveler must have experience in an Academic level 1 Trauma center.
  • Successfully completed travel assignment (13 weeks). No First Time Traveler!
  • Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
    Schedule Information
  • 36 hrs/week, Variable 8/12 hour shifts evening/night shifts Monday-Friday and every other weekend between the hours 1900-0730.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
    Additional Details
  • Required per Vaya standard.
  • Current/valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position. Required for Dialysis. Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions.
  • Required for clinical positions only. Must be issued by American Heart Association (AHA). Renewals: Certificates of Completion/Attestation showing proof that renewal was completed will be accepted and allow candidate to continue working while they wait for a copy of their new card.
