Compensation: $19 per hour
As a Part-Time Receptionist for our client, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and smooth experience. Your role will be pivotal in providing excellent customer service and managing administrative tasks.
Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Pay Rate: $19/Hr
  • Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities include:
  • Promptly and professionally answering all incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Greeting and registering visitors, including customers, employees, and guests.
  • Efficiently entering customer phone orders into the computer system for processing, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handling daily mail distribution, ensuring that all correspondence is sorted and delivered promptly.
  • Assisting in the production of marketing materials, contributing to promotional efforts.
  • Managing office supplies for photocopiers and printers, coordinating service visits as necessary to maintain functionality.
  • Providing administrative support to our client's team, including data entry, word processing, and other tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Physical and Mental Demands:
  • Hearing ability sufficient to communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers in person or by telephone/voice systems.
  • Sustained periods of sitting.
  • Vision, dexterity coordination, and cognitive ability sufficient to use telephone, keyboard, computer, and other office systems and equipment efficiently.
  • Ability to lift objects from floor to chest level of up to 20 lbs. on a frequent basis; and up to 35 lbs. occasionally.
  • Cognitive, intellectual, and mental ability to concentrate on details and/or perform more than one complex task at a time and to handle diverse pressures related to requests and needs of others.
  • Ability to work in an environment with a variety of natural and synthetic odors.
