*Summary*

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care within our healthcare facility. Reporting to the Surgical Services Manager, your core responsibilities include decontamination, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instruments, ensuring they are ready for both inpatient and outpatient procedures. Your knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques will be vital in this role. Additionally, your premium skills in inventory management will help streamline processes, contributing to the efficiency of our surgical teams and the overall success of patient care.

*Responsibilities*
* Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment for both inpatient and outpatient procedures.
* Assemble and package sterile instruments, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and medical terminology.
* Manage inventory of sterile supplies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring availability for surgical teams.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals in urology and surgery departments to meet sterilization needs efficiently.
* Uphold safety and hygiene standards throughout the sterile processing workflow.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:
* Sterile processing: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:
* CBSPD or IAHCSMM (Required)
