The Partners at this mid-sized firm all use to work for a Big National Firm. Their frustration with the red tape, bureaucracy, and political culture resulted in them creating a firm where you’re at the center of decisions that matter.

They’ve invested in a new space in the heart of Chicago for their staff. It’s a big space with a specific training facility, break room and an outdoor terrace.

One of their key goals is to have great employee experiences and they feel the space you work in is a big contributor to that.

They’re growing, but slowly and strategically by acquiring small firms. You won’t see any drastic changes to the size but most importantly the culture. Their aim is to maintain the small firm culture with an actual work life balance all whilst being able to offer opportunities typically associated with the larger firms.

One of the co-owners is ex big4, he knows the drill of the burn and churn. He wants to do things differently and is very involved in the firm and built a culture he is proud of and wants to keep growing this.

Right now they’re at 100 people offering Tax & client accounting services + valuation practices

As a Tax manager you will be client facing handling a wide range of flow through, corporate and pass through entities.

The majority of the team work as generalist but if you lean more to the HNW and UHNW clients that can be a conversation too.
