Schedule Information
- 12 hour shifts: 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
- Weekend Requirements: Every third.
- Holiday Requirements: Rotating with perm staff.
- Floating Requirements: Yes to MedSurg or to ICU to take PCU acuity patients.

- WILL NOT APPROVE BLOCKED SCHEDULING OR SAME SCHEDULE/SHIFTS, MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO FLOAT AND WORK WHEN NEEDED.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults, Cardiac med/surg, dialysis, cancer diagnosis, vascular, sepsis, adult respiratory, stroke, post stent, post pacer placement, renal failure.
- RNs required to titrate drips: Yes.
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, insulin.
- Charge Nurse on each shift: Yes, does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes.
- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes, 1:12.
- RT Equipment: High flow.
- RNs must read and interpret tele strips.
