Job Description

Role Overview:

Join a dynamic engineering team to lead and execute electrical power components for industrial and government projects. The role involves developing construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and power system studies.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify systems such as grounding, lightning protection, switchgear, motor control centers, substations, UPS systems, and mission-critical power systems.
  • Conduct electrical system modeling and power studies using tools like ETAP, PTW, or EasyPower.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and ICC standards.
  • Oversee and manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines while mentoring junior engineers.
  • Engage directly with clients, providing proposals, estimates, and project updates.
  • Lead cross-discipline coordination to achieve project goals.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Experience:
  • Extensive expertise in low and medium voltage power systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit for design and drafting.
  • Strong communication, team leadership, and multitasking skills.
  • Credentials: Professional Engineering License (with multi-state licensing capability).
  • Other: U.S. citizenship and willingness to travel for client/vendor interactions.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Food & Beverage industry projects or capital project management.
  • Prior consulting/engineering services experience.
  • Autodesk Revit proficiency.
  • Interest in team leadership or direct report management.
