Job Description :
The Security Engineering (SecEng) team is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Intrusion systems across all corporate, manufacturing, production, and sales environments.
As a SecEng project manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to, design and implementation of security systems for various locations across NORAM, effective communication with both internal and external parties, and completion of project deliverables prior to strict site opening deadlines. You will be expected to perform with little guidance while still taking the initiative, showing integrity, and operating with a strong sense of urgency, all while managing projects with complex dependencies and tight timelines. You will play a critical role in executing impactful company-wide initiatives as our team strives to continuously improve the effectiveness and resiliency of Tesla security systems across the organization.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for implementing design coordination activities into engineering design packages
· Responsible for defining scope of work for installations of security systems including ACS, VSS, and IDS
· Accurate coordination, communication, and management of both external vendors and internal Tesla teams
· Responsible for developing concise communications and workflows for articulating Security Installation status and on-site conditions
· Responsible for as-built verification leveraging Bluebeam software, PlanGrid, Aconex and traditional survey means/methods
· Work with Security Engineering, Technical Project Controls, Construction, BIM and Engineering to create process improvements for Coordination, Short Interval Planning, 4D Analysis and other construction-related activities
· Expected to work in a fast-paced, high-volume workload environment
Requirements
· Project Management Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent industry experience
· Physical Security Certification such as Physical Security Professional (PSP) or equivalent industry experience
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
