We are looking for SDET in Redmond, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual testing across various platforms and environments.
• Execute BVTs to ensure critical functionality works after builds.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to streamline testing processes.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for managing test cases, tracking defects, and maintaining test artifacts.
• Set up and monitor pipelines for testing, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
• Validate RESTful APIs for functionality, data flow, and error handling using tools like, Swagger, or similar.
• Write and execute automated API test scripts where applicable.
• Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to measure application scalability and responsiveness.
• Perform security tests to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Generate detailed test reports, highlighting test coverage, defect metrics, and performance benchmarks.

Core Skills:

• Strong experience with manual testing and creating detailed test plans and cases.
• Proficiency in test automation using Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated testing.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Swagger.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.

Technical Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, and error handling.
• Working knowledge of programming languages like TypeScript , JavaScript , Python , or C# for automation scripts.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000* per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
