Platinum Recruiting Group is partnering with a leading Midwest-based mineral processing company to find a talented Structural Design Engineer to join their growing team!


About Our Client:

Our client is a family-owned company with a strong reputation for excellence, established in 1979. They are a one-stop shop for companies that need to process and move bulk materials, such as sand, crushed stone, and gravel. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, they design, install, and provide maintenance assistance for custom material handling systems across the Eastern United States.


About the Role:

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our client's custom material handling systems. You will be responsible for:

  • Layout & design conveying equipment, crushing and screening plants, ensuring all systems & components will function optimally.
  • Work with the Project Manager to develop precise plant layouts, structural framework and chute designs using CAD.
  • Provide design and drafting support for multiple projects, assisting project managers in meeting deadlines & project goals.
  • Collaborate with the project team to translate design concepts and plant configurations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • Proven experience in 2D and 3D CAD design, specifically with AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and material handling systems.
  • Experience with process flow design and hydraulic schematics is a plus.
