DESCRIPTION:
New, luxury, members-only private club is seeking an experienced Restaurant GM. Recent opening experience and beverage background is a huge plus! As the Restaurant General Manager, you play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Executive Team to ensure the seamless operation of our establishment, encompassing responsibilities such as maintaining service excellence, operational efficiency, enhancing member and guest experiences, staff retention, and achieving optimal profitability. Beyond day-to-day staff management, you serve as a prominent ambassador for our brand and embody our core values, providing unwavering support to our team members and ensuring exceptional experiences for both members and guests. In this influential leadership position, you act as a strategic partner across all departments, contributing to our narrative, service delivery, cultural enrichment, financial success, operational excellence, and the overall satisfaction of our members and guests. Collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders, your primary objective is to orchestrate unforgettable moments through the efforts of our dedicated staff, the quality of our culinary offerings, beverage services, event experiences, and the amenities we provide, cementing our club as a place where every interaction leaves a lasting impression of excellence.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Ensure exceptional guest service, food quality, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality and innovation.
- Team Development: Cultivate a motivated and high-performing team through training and development initiatives. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
- Budget Management: Manage the restaurant's financial performance, including budgets, cost control, and revenue generation. Monitor and optimize labor and inventory costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Member Satisfaction: Ensure an exceptional guest experience by addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols. Oversee staff training on safety procedures and emergency response.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations. Develop and implement effective staffing schedules and manage labor costs.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members. Implement disciplinary actions when necessary, in accordance with company policies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including P&L statements, and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, ordering, and supplier relationships to optimize costs.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive revenue.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Passion for creating a positive and welcoming restaurant culture that empowers employees

- Understanding of restaurant operations, including food service, guest satisfaction, and
- employee engagement.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strategic mindset to drive business growth and success.
- Experience in restaurant management, including budgeting, staffing, and compliance.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- 2-3+ years of senior leadership in restaurants and/or hotel F&B
- Proficiency in understanding, maintaining, and enforcing local and government-regulated
- food safety, risk prevention, fire prevention, and emergency procedures for staff and guest
- safety.
- Active involvement in interviewing new and prospective hires, both internal and external,
- while aligning with P&C policies and providing positive support for team growth,
- development, and success planning.
- Proven capability to monitor, assess, report on, and develop action plans to enhance service
- trends, incorporating feedback from guest, member, and staff surveys.
- Track record as an innovator and influencer, with prior experience managing F&B operations that prioritize service excellence and delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences.
- Possession of creative and analytical thinking skills, complemented by a strong business aptitude that drives results and guest satisfaction, naturally fostering a hospitable atmosphere.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, both internal and external, coupled with a highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented approach.
- Profound experience in wine and beverage knowledge, coupled with an unwavering passion for the world of wines and beverages.
