Job Title: Retail Pharmacy Technician

Rate: $22-$25/hour

Contract Duration: 3-month contract with the potential to extend

Shifts: 5 am – 130 pm and 9:30 am – 6 pm.

(They are looking for candidates that are flexible that can work both shifts. Hours are 40 hour a week. Facility is open 5am - 6pm.)

Job Description:

This position is an automation role that includes: filling tasks, processing prescriptions, etc.

Candidate must have:

• 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience
• Active WI state registration
• Automation experience

Scheduling : Shifts will be 5am-1:30pm and 9:30am-6pm. Need someone willing to be flexible and work both shifts. *Up to 40 hours of work available each week, no guarantee.

Major Responsibilities:

• Develops competency in servicing pharmacy customers: including obtaining and recording initial demographic and other required information, data entry of required information into the pharmacy system for record keeping, insurance verification and label generation purposes, and cashiering.
• Develops competence in dispensing and delivery of medications.
• This includes developing competence in the department's use of information systems, technology, and automation for dispensing, storage of medications, and clerical duties.
• Develops competence in insurance and third-party billing functions, including data entry of customer demographics and third-party information
• Obtaining prior authorizations from appropriate third-party carriers
• Maintaining files of prior authorization
• Investigating and correcting errors in submission to third parties and handling private insurance, workers compensation, and third-party insurance coverage and prescription-related issues.
