Job Description

The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail. You will assist the Executive Chef in providing exceptional food quality and presentation. Responsible for overall production of all foods necessary for Arnie’s Restaurant.  Oversees performance of kitchen personnel, counsel when necessary and assess performance. Ensures the kitchen is well maintained and in order, food is of the highest quality, well prepared and attractively presented for our members and guests.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
  • Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
  • Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff


Qualifications

  • Formal training with a two (2) year Culinary Degree from an accredited/certified Culinary Program, School, College or Institute preferred. 
  • Education requirement may be substituted with five (5) years of related experience and/or training. 
  • Strong customer service is a must.   
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
