Title : Pharmacy Manager

Position Type: Full Time
Schedule: Operating hours 8am to 8pm; on-call after hours/weekends.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmacist Manager to join a growing pharmacy team in Little Rock, AR. As a Pharmacist Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a team of 3 full-time pharmacists and 6 full-time pharmacy technicians while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to excellence in medication management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist pharmacy technicians as needed.
- Handle incoming phone calls as necessary.
- Develop and manage staffing schedules to meet pharmacy needs.
- Oversee proper inventory management and medication ordering.
- Manage medication returns and E-Kit procedures.
- Supervise medication management systems to ensure the timely, safe, and efficient delivery of medications, and ensure proper labeling and storage.
- Review medication administration to ensure it conforms to prescriber’s orders.
- Maintain up-to-date pharmacist and pharmacy technician licenses.
- Complete administrative tasks, including new hire and payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Follow corporate initiatives and make use of provided tools and resources.
- Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
- Maintain Continuing Education credits as required for licensure.
- Ensure the pharmacist's state licensing is kept current.
Qualifications:
- Active, valid AR Pharmacist License with no hits.
- 1-2 years of management experience required.
- Long-term care experience, preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
