Responsibilities include performing and/or assisting in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including radiopharmacy, radiation safety, in vivo and in vitro studies, and equipment and inventory maintenance. Additional training and responsibilities include quality control of all instrumentation used in the department, image acquisition and computerized processing. The Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech will adhere to department and facility guidelines regarding customer service, safety and medical ethics. Individuals earning quick interviews will have graduated from an AMA approved program of Nuclear Medicine and be licensed by ARRT(N) or CNMT with an Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Imaging or Business.
