Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and creative Studio Assistants to join our magnetic team! The ideal candidate is a team player who is eager to learn about our different art offerings, and will enthusiastically share their knowledge with our Guests.  This position is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys inspiring others, and understands how small details can positively impact a Guests' enjoyment of our experiences!

Responsibilities:

• Welcome Guests and seat each party in a warm manner
• Be knowledgeable about Happy Medium's message, brand history, and demonstrate our core Company Values
• Promptly take the orders of each party and accurately serve each Guest their ordered art mediums
• Perform Hospitality Checks table side to ensure Guests' needs are being anticipated and met
• Perform side work, medium prep, and all other service, opening, & closing tasks as required
• Perform restroom checks to ensure cleanliness, stocked supplies, and functionality
• Strive for each Guest to have a unique, rewarding experience and leave with a smile
• Take care of company property, materials, and mediums to ensure product longevity
• Assist with other roles when requested by Management

• Time management skills and the able to prioritize side work and other tasks
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand & follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to communicate and be reachable by phone and email, and communicate efficiently
• Possess a team player mentality to deliver positive, verifiable results
• An enthusiastic demeanor adaptable to the varied personalities and needs of our Guests
• A commitment to deliver "unreasonable hospitality" with a polished demeanor while on the floor
• A curiosity to constantly improve and integrate feedback as given 

Requirements and Physical Demands:

• Able to work a flexible schedule in order to accommodate business volume with open availability for weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for an 8 hour shift on their feet, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and utilize the stairs- often while lifting and carrying heavy items.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, & kneel
• Punctuality to report to each shift on time, neatly in uniform, and ready to work
• Ability to adhere to all company policies, and procedures in handbook, manuals, and company docs
