Ancillary Receptionist - Glen Ellyn
Position Highlights :
  • Full-Time, 40 hours
  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-9:00PM; Saturday-Sunday, 8:00AM-4:00PM
  • Location: 430 Pennsylvania Ave.
    Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137
  • Travel: As needed.

Responsibilities
  • Check-in/Greeting Patients/ Patient Scheduling
    • Acknowledges and welcomes patients and visitors. Sets the tone for a positive experience
    • Check in and schedules appointments, following standard specialty protocol
    • Answers multiple lines to fulfill patient needs over the phone
    • Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
    • Cross-train and help as needed in other departments
    • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as assigned
  • Reviewing schedule
    • Pre-screen appropriate specialty patients based on departmental protocol
    • Monitor schedules daily, ensuring that all open slots are filled same day and working schedule to remove "road blocks"
    • Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports
  • Exam Preparation
    • Review the Daily Appointment Report three to five days in advance for appointment and referral accuracy
Qualifications
Level of Education
  • High school diploma or GED
Years of Experience
  • Three years of patient/client-facing experience

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $15.10-$22.70/hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
