Job Overview

This role offers the opportunity to design complex electrical systems for large-scale HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects across healthcare, commercial, and industrial sectors. From power distribution to control systems integration, you'll play a vital role in developing innovative, energy-efficient solutions that meet modern building demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects.
• Develop power distribution layouts, control schematics, and lighting systems for mechanical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless system integration.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam for electrical design, modeling, and documentation.
• Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and arc flash studies to optimize system performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design within the commercial mechanical construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, motor controls, and building automation systems (BAS).
• Local and stable work history demonstrating expertise in commercial, healthcare, or industrial projects.
