Job Description
We seek a Lead Working Plumbing Foreman to bring expertise, leadership, and hands-on proficiency to commercial plumbing projects in Allentown, PA. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and industrial facilities.
- Execute and supervise underground plumbing installations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Layout, assemble, and install pipe systems for various materials, including PVC, CPVC, cast iron, copper, and Victaulic connections, for pipe diameters ranging from 20" to 1/4".
- Installed and troubleshot fixtures and related plumbing components, ensuring alignment with building plans and blueprints.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices while maintaining a clean, efficient, organized work site.
- Operate or oversee excavating equipment for site preparation, as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to maintain schedules and project milestones.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in commercial plumbing systems, with a strong background in installing and maintaining complex piping and drainage systems.
- Expertise in working with PVC, CPVC, cast iron, copper, and Victaulic connections.
- Proven hands-on experience in underground plumbing installations and fixture installations.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools specific to plumbing trades.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and interact with clients or other trades.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing challenges on the job.
- Experience operating excavating equipment is a plus.
- Proven local and stable work history within the industry.
