Requisition Title: HR – Support Center

Location Newton, MA - Fully Onsite (Hours: 8:30am-5pm)

Duration: 6 months + possible extension


NOTES

  • Interview: 1 round, virtual, 30 minutes via Teams
  • Top (3) Must Haves: organization, follow through, schedule reliability.
  • Top (3) Nice to Haves: experience in HR, experience with ServiceNow, experience with Workday
  • Parking: Free campus parking


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing various administrative tasks essential to the overall function of the local Human Resources department and Shared Service Center.
  • Primary support is provided to the assigned affiliate; with backup support to others as needed. The HR Support Center Representative will resolve inquiries from employees, managers, retirees, and other customers and external parties in a walk-in setting.
  • They will also help resolve concerns and issues regarding processes and policies through phone, email, case management and chat.
  • They will serve as a liaison and resource with respect to Hospital policies and programs. Will perform daily HR functions in addition to project work as assigned. This person will strive to meet all expected service levels and business performance goals, performing a range of services and fully documenting all cases in the case management system.


Essential Functions - Local HR

Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department (including answering phone, some reception duties, assisting applicants with profiles and on-line ATS, other related organizing and filing, responsible for maintaining schedule for Conference Room, inventory/supplies.

Partner with HR counterparts (in Shared Services and across institutions) to ensure all escalated issues are resolved and service levels met

Take ownership of all assigned tasks, initiatives, and inquiries and make sure that they are resolved

Past HR experience preferred.

  • Excellent customer service/communication skills are essential for this position. Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (Peoplesoft preferred)
