Bridgewater is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Program Manager to Lead the Grid Data Center Program team in managing a large portfolio of technology projects for the Grid Data Center Organization.
Responsibilities involve:
- Managing a team for the Grid Computing group, responsible for the project management, architectural design, implementation, and operations of IT equipment supporting NERC-CIP in scope critical grid control systems within the client’s Grid Data Centers.
- Provide oversight to ensure the successful execution of Grid Data Center projects with a budget of greater than $10 million.
- Demonstrate experience communicating financial information to various audiences including senior management.
- Demonstrate experience in building reports, analyzing, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity with the ability to present and interpret the data collected using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and/or other databases (e.g. Heat Map Report, Program Level Status Report, KPI & Service Level Reports)
- Demonstrate experience with integrating financial performance, budgeting analysis, and cost savings valuation.
- Experience performing/providing oversight to the following: identifying client requirements, gathering relevant information from appropriate stakeholders and SMEs, and presenting information to management.
- Experience performing risk analysis, gathering documents, and researching data on assigned topics, using databases, files, spreadsheets, or other sources.
- Strong ethics, influence and negotiation, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and engage in continuous improvement of processes.
- Demonstrated experience creating and/or provide oversight to create reports utilizing SAP or similar financial systems.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a high performing, ambiguous and agile environment.
- Demonstrate experience executing projects in both agile and waterfall methodology.
- Experience using Change Management Tool for Change Requests (CRQ’s) and access requests.
- Hands on experience using Microsoft Project and creating, develop, and maintain detailed project plans.
- Ability to step in and drive and execute 4-5 projects simultaneously to successful completion if needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience with communicating with other teams via calls, chats, and email.
Ensure all assigned projects are meet 100% of the following criteria:
Complete on-time per agreed upon schedule
Complete within client approved budget
All risks and issues must be fully mitigated in a timely manner (Based on RAID log entries and discussions.
100% of assigned projects are independently planned, initiated, executed, and closed (i.e., by adhering to client IT & BCG standards and processes).
Independently develop detailed project plans to include resource availability and allocation on all assigned projects.
- Provide direction to Project Management Team in making decisions regarding changing project/product scope, policy, development, and implementation in accordance to Change Management processes for all assigned projects.
- Exceed client & stakeholder satisfaction on all assigned projects and demonstrate yourself as a trusted partner to the client.
- Demonstrate successful & effective communication of project status (i.e., presentations) to all levels of management (both BCG Internal & Client).
- Demonstrate you can effectively manage and lead team working sessions.
- Provide oversight and direction to team members performing forecasting, financial management, change management, Deployment Readiness, Data Readiness, Network Modeling, IT Operational Readiness, risk management, and project tracking and controls for assigned projects.
Required Skills :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience on managing technical programs. 5 years of experience of program management in the utilities industry highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing successful implementation of projects against scope, schedule, and budget.
- Experience with delivering technical projects around enterprise IT infrastructure – including virtualization and data center.
- Experience with execution of projects/programs with a budget more than $5 million
- Demonstrated experience communicating financial information to various audiences including senior management.
- Demonstrate experience in building reports, analyzing, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity with the ability to derive insights from data collected using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and/or other databases.
- Demonstrated experience with integrating financial performance, budgeting analysis, and budgeting and cost savings valuation.
- Experience performing including identifying client needs, gathering relevant information from appropriate stakeholders, and presenting information to management.
- Strong ethics, influence and negotiation, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and engage in continuous improvement of processes.
- Demonstrated experience generating reports utilizing SAP or similar financial systems.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a high performing, ambiguous and agile environment.
- Experience executing projects in both agile and waterfall methodology.
- Experience using Remedy BMC tool for Change Requests (CRQ’s)
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Experience using Visio Diagraming Tool
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience with communicating with other teams via calls, chats, and email
- PMP or PRINCE 2 Certification Completed.
