A prestigious law firm in Lake Forest, IL is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Office Manager to oversee and optimize the firm’s administrative and operational functions. Key Responsibilities of the Office Manager:

  • Oversee and manage BOI (Business Operations Intelligence) reporting to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Maintain and refine administrative systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Supervise IT systems, software tools, and technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and user accessibility.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors to address technical issues and implement updates.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Manage office infrastructure and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Supervise administrative staff, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive, productive office culture in alignment with the firm’s values.
  • Ensure the office environment is professional, organized, and equipped to support client needs and team productivity.
  • Manage office supplies, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Oversee financial functions, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prepare budgets and monitor financial performance.
  • Manage the firm’s website, ensuring content is accurate, updated, and aligned with branding.
  • Coordinate with external marketing vendors as needed to enhance the firm’s online presence.


Qualifications of the Office Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or office management, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, financial software, and reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
