Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Job Description:

Under broad direction, the role involves applying skills to implement leading-edge technologies and enhance the Technical Software Development process.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor less senior developers and provide technical excellence leadership.
• Understand the business or function for which the application is designed.
• Direct and monitor the work of other programming personnel across large-scale development projects, including involvement in design and milestone reviews.
• Operate independently and consult on the most complex design projects.
• Conceive, propose, and promote new ideas and products within the engineering organization and guide their implementation to final products.
• Provide technical direction in areas of specialty on major products.
• Work on designs that span several groups or influence hardware decisions.
• Contribute to value creation through technical expertise and innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with 7 years of relevant experience, or 11 years of software development experience.
• A master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
