This position will manage and design water and wastewater facility and infrastructure projects while developing business through the management of existing clients. What your day-to-day will look like
- Prepare and monitor project scopes, budgets, schedules to assure an economical timely delivery of projects.
- Make decisions independently and take responsibility for project engineering solutions.
- Communicate and coordinate efforts and ideas with peers and management team.
- Lead single and multi-disciplined projects providing technical guidance and mentoring of project team members.
- Ensure all technical aspects of the project, including the design, specifications, and reports, follow company quality objectives as well as all local and state criteria.
- Prepare engineering project proposals in coordination with the Engineering Department and Business Development Managers.
- Represent the company in client and agency meetings to resolve questions and to plan and coordinate work.
Education/Certification Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas or can acquire registration through reciprocity.
Must-haves, what you will bring
- 6+ years of experience related to water or wastewater plant and infrastructure design.
- Operational knowledge of Houston and Harris County government agencies.
- Strong verbal, computer, organizational, and writing skills.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
Compensation The pay range for this role is $90,000-$120,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
