Summary:

Our client is a is a market leading minority business provider of automotive interior and under-hood solutions, dedicated to exceeding its customers' increasing expectations looking for a Quality Manager . The Quality Manager will be responsible for the Quality Management System, overall product quality, control and measurement methods, corrective actions and ultimately customer satisfaction

Quality Manager Description:

• Coordinates the efforts of the department as required to ensure that that department is conducted in accordance with requirements of the company’s profitability and productivity
• Interfaces with Executive Group on plans, activities, schedules, staffing and problems. Keeps Executive Group informed on the department’s status
• Is responsible for CCC Certification Management
• Ensuring that a quality management system which meets the - requirements of the CNCA implementation rules, (No. CNCA-02C-060:2005) is implemented and maintained
• Ensuring that the products with the compulsory certification mark are produced in conformity with the standards according to which they have been certified (GB 8410-2006, Flammability of automotive interior materials)
• Establishing documented procedures to ensure that Compulsory certification marking is used appropriately
• Establishing documented procedures to ensure that the compulsory certification mark is not affixed on any non-conforming product or changed product that was not notified to the certification body
• Creating, implementing, and revising the COP Control plans, as well as being responsible for communication of all technical changes to the certifying body
• Maintains adherence to Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices
• Maintains good employee relations and adherence to Company’s procedures and policy provisions. Coaches departmental staff as required and takes proper and judicious disciplinary measures as needed
• Establishes accountabilities and goals for department and guides the departmental employees to that end
• Maintains records of departmental activities as required
• Assures efficient and economical utilization of all departmental resources
• Works cooperatively with all other company departments to support the mission of the company
• Performs other duties as required or directed
• Flexibility of methods required to meet company and departmental goals
• Attention to short-term and long-term departmental planning
• Understanding interdepartmental functions is essential to ensure that company and departmental objectives are met
• Requires both administrative and technical knowledge and frequent interaction with employees
• Originality and initiative are important as well as the ability to work under unusual or extreme pressures
