Job Title: Digital Marketing Director

Location: Edina, Minnesota (in office required)

Job Type: Full-Time


Job Overview: The Director of Digital Performance Marketing will drive data-informed strategies that fuel performance-based sales across digital platforms, with a focus on Amazon, Walmart, Google, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). This role requires a deep understanding of analytics, performance metrics, and digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Amazon Seller Tools, and Walmart KwickMetrics. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Director will ensure all marketing initiatives contribute to significant, measurable business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Performance Marketing Strategy: Develops and leads comprehensive digital strategies that drive sales growth across Amazon, Walmart, Meta, and other key platforms, ensuring performance-driven results.

Campaign Optimization: Oversees planning, execution, and continuous optimization of marketing campaigns. Ensure metrics are tracked accurately and manage pacing, budget adjustments, and ROI maximization.

Digital Tools & Analytics: Leverages tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Amazon Seller Tools, Walmart KwickMetrics, Google Attribution, to gather insights, monitor KPIs, and drive sales effectiveness. Set, track, and achieve program goals, KPIs, and timelines.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Responsible for providing actionable insights through deep analysis of campaign performance. Generates regular reports on KPIs such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and sales growth. Recommends media performance optimizations, audience segmentation strategies, and multi-touch attribution models to maximize effectiveness.

Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices.

Budget Management & Forecasting: Owns and manages the digital marketing budget, optimizing resource use and providing accurate forecasts for future sales performance.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Responsible for staying current on digital marketing trends, and identifying new growth opportunities and best practices across Meta, Amazon, and Walmart platforms.

Personalization & Customer Segmentation: Owns the development and execution of personalization strategies based on customer segmentation to tailor campaigns and content that drive engagement, conversions, and customer loyalty.

Email Marketing & Automation: Develops and optimizes email marketing efforts using tools like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or other automation platforms to ensure seamless campaign execution and audience engagement.

Website Operations: Owns website content management, technical maintenance (in partnership with external agencies), SEO optimization, and improvements in user experience and conversion.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business goals, incorporating market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape analysis.

Brand Management: Oversee brand consistency across all digital channels and lead creative campaigns to build brand awareness and customer loyalty.

Content Development: Guide the creation of compelling and compliant content. Coordinate with external agencies, influencers, and partners to amplify reach.

Customer Journey Optimization: Enhance user experience and increase conversion rates by implementing strategies that nurture leads and drive customer loyalty.

Spearhead and manage the ratings and reviews programs , driving engagement and facilitating customer feedback to enhance visibility and consumer satisfaction

Testing & Experimentation: Implement A/B testing, multivariate testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) across digital platforms to ensure continual improvement and maximize campaign efficiency.

Provide evidence-based recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, and acquisition by channel (including preparing on-demand reporting and quarterly web performance report.)


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7-10 years of working experience digital marketer in a D2C organization in performance marketing, with a focus on driving sales through digital channels.
  • Proven track record managing successful campaigns on Google, Meta, Amazon, and Walmart.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Amazon Seller Tools, and Walmart KwickMetrics.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret performance data and optimize campaigns, including multi-touch attribution models.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar automation tools.
  • Strong UX sensibility and empathy for the user
  • Strong familiarity with responsive design principles and usability and accessibility best practices
  • Experience managing and mentoring digital marketing teams.
  • Expertise in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Minneapolis, Minnesota.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
