Prior to that he was Head of Product Design at Playspace (acq. by Google), an all-in-one video conferencing app. He has also worked at Facebook, Dropbox, and Pentagram.Adam Menges (CPO) is a 2× acquired founder and has been working on machine learning and design tools for over a decade. He co-founded Lobe (acq. by Microsoft), a visual design tool that allows anyone to train their own machine learning model. He also co-founded Lowkey (acq. by Niantic), an AR game company. Prior to that he worked at Apple.Zach Stiggelbout (CTO) is a multi-disciplinary engineer specializing in user interfaces and machine learning applications. He worked at Microsoft on Lobe, a visual design tool that allows anyone to train their own machine learning model. Prior to that, he co-founded Arc Reactor, an engineering/design studio, and worked at the University of Washington on human interfaces for surgical robots.About the role We are looking for a Marketing Designer to join our founding team. Your job is simple: get the word out about Visual Electric.A lot of your time will be spent managing our social presence. This means defining our social strategy, producing original video and visual content, engaging with other accounts, and working with other creators.We also want to experiment with other forms of marketing, like physical activations, contests, podcasts, creator programs, events, and guerrilla marketing.We are also open to any other wild or creative ideas you have. The only criteria that matters is that it gets people's attention and it feels consistent with our brand (which you will help define).Qualifications Experience in managing social media accounts with 50k+ followersExamples of viral content you created with 100k+ viewsSkilled at creating engaging video & visual contentComfortable on camera and being the face of Visual ElectricMove quickly and have a strong bias towards actionWilling to get out of the office when needed and be hands on with your workOutstanding ability to collaborate and communicate your ideasComfortable with ambiguity and working in a rapidly changing environmentCreative and scrappy, able to come up with novel ideas that get noticedWhat you will be working on Our projects and priorities will change as we explore and iterate.
