As an Machinist you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and programming computer numerical control CNC machines to produce high-precision components. Responsibilities: Set up load and operate CNC machines according to job specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining. Write and modify CNC programs using G-code or CAM software. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Monitor machine operations to detect and address any issues or deviations. Conduct quality checks and measurements to ensure parts meet required specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Maintain a clean digital file archive Work with the team on keeping machine templates up to date Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with Microsoft word and Excel 3+ years of CNC machine operation and programming is preferred. Either industry or technical college experience is acceptable. Strong knowledge of G-code and CAM software. Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to set up fixturing using standard fixture hardware Ability to design custom fixtures Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced machinists.
