Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Specialty: General Occupational Therapy
Job Duration: 8 weeks with potential to extend
Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, weekend availability (Sundays) preferred 2x/month; Schedule flexibility: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: One (1) year of clinical experience
License: Registration as an occupational therapist by the state
Certifications: Michigan certification, BLS, must have a current driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Must-Have:
- Acute care and IPR experience
- Flexibility to work both in the same shift
- ICU therapist experience
- Reliable transportation and a telephone
Job Description:
- Implement treatment programs under general supervision of the therapy supervisor
- Organize and conduct various sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities
- Assist clients in regaining physical or mental functioning and/or adjusting to their handicaps
- Perform other related duties as required in a home care setting
- Open to new graduates with full work experience in acute care and IPR
