Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Inpatient Physical Therapy
Job Duration: 9 months
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday; weekend availability preferred two Sundays per month; flexible schedule from 7:00am-3:30pm
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Open to new graduates with full work experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation; must have acute care and ICU therapist experience
License: Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist License from the State of Michigan
Certifications: Current BLS certification
Must-Have:
- Acute care and inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Flexibility to work both in the same shift
- ICU therapist experience
- Michigan certification
- BLS
Job Description:
- Provide direct patient care utilizing appropriate age-specific standards of practice for physical therapists regarding all patient populations served.
- Work independently and collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve patient-centered goals.
- Possess the ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have knowledge of the care of neonate, pediatric adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Experience with Cerner/eCare is nice to have, but not required.
