Billing Clerk
Office Clerk
Our client located in Southern, NJ is currently looking for someone with general administrative experience to assist the Controller. This position is a great opportunity to join a growing company and vibrant work environment.
Responsibilities:
*Create itemized invoices, statements and other necessary billing documents
*Perform day-to-day financial transactions, verify accuracy of billing data, correct any errors
*Apply client payments correctly
*Contact clients to obtain payment information
*Understand revenue accounts and cost centers
*Assist the Accounting Department with other responsibilities
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
*1+ year of experience as Office Clerk, Bookkeeper
*Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
*Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
*Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
*Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
*Proficiency in English and in MS Office
*High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
*Prior service or construction accounting experience helpful
