Job Description
The objective for the Claims Associate: To mitigate financial exposures and ensure cost-effective claims resolution through collaboration with internal stakeholders and Third-Party Claims Administrator (TPA)
Pay: $60,000.00- $70,000.00

Core Responsibilities:
•Oversee and manage a portfolio of claims from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and accurate processing in adherence to company and industry standards
•Partner with HR and Operations stakeholders to provide the TPA with the information necessary to investigate and manage claims
•Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations teams, to align claims management strategies with organizational goals
•Works closely with the ABM Claims Manager to implement programs to address negative claim trends
Key Accountabilities:
•Works closely with our TPA to achieve time, cost-effective claim outcomes and closures
•Completes claim best practice audits of TPA
•Maintains diary oversite of claims managed by the TPA
•Play a strategic role in telephonic claim reviews, directing the strategy
•Review all new claims reported to ensure appropriate assignment to TPA
•Partners with Operations, HR, and TPA to effectively manage effectively manage liability claims as well as Workers' Compensation cases including developing/monitoring claim strategy, custom return plans and TPA compliance.
Key Capabilities for Success:
•Ability to effectively support a large multi-site workforce
•Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal at all levels of the business
•Demonstrated proficiency in Claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite applications
•Ability to assess claim status and work with the TPA to develop a claim-specific action plan to mitigate claim exposure
Minimum Education/Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field or equivalent experience
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance or claims management, preferably within a large corporate environment
•Experience with geographically dispersed teams and hybrid/remote work environments.
•An insurance designation of ARM or AIC is strongly preferred
