PAE, Portland, Oregon, United States of AmericaJob Description Posted Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 AMThe Relationship Manager is responsible for day to day client relationship and sales/business development efforts that will result in meeting and/or exceeding individual performance goals and achieving the Bank’s growth objective. Act as the primary contact of the bank with the client and is held accountable to understand and articulate to clients, prospects and community members in regard to the mission of Beneficial State Bank and at all time represents Beneficial State Bank in an ethical and professional manner. Relationship Manager are to maintain a record of all sales and relationship management activities through the use of established bank client management and internal communication systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES Works in a collaborative manner with all Beneficial State Bank personnel and provides exceptional service and solution to existing and prospective business banking clientsMaintains a clear understanding of the bank’s plans and goals regarding to loan and low cost deposit growth, and a clearly defined production goal within these two-major product setsFocuses daily activities on sales efforts with clients and prospects towards achieving individual loan and low cost deposits goalsEstablishes track record of business banking, meeting production goals, and disciplined use of sales tools for tracking opportunities, calling efforts, and client requestsDevelops and strengthens existing business banking relationships through frequent scheduled follow-up telephone calls and personal meetingsDevelops and maintains a comprehensive profile of customer’s current and future banking needsCreates new customer relationships by developing a target list and pursing each prospect in a determined and systematic fashionSpends a minimum of 50% of time in the field, calling on customers and prospects, developing relationships, and uncovering new banking opportunitiesMaintains a record of planned and completed calling and sales activities; results of business development efforts, new relationships and follow-up efforts through established bank information systemsStrengthens the bank’s client relationships by cross-selling the Bank’s products and servicesPrepares loan requests for review and underwriting by Credit Administration and provides required documentation and summary information when submitting loan requests to Credit AdministrationWorks closely with Credit Administration to ensure all loan requests are processed in a timely manner and keeps the loan applicant (client or prospect) duly informed throughout the loan application processMaintains follow up with existing clients to ensure the bank has timely and accurate financial information for the purposes of loan monitoring and/or to update the bank’s credit filesAttends and participates in staff meetings on goal reviews, objectives and results, obstacles, and provide solutions as deemed necessaryAttends all required community and business related eventsShares best practices and successes to improve services, processes, procedures and products offeredUnderstands and abides by all banking regulations and regulatory compliance procedures in all bank activitiesFollows established Bank procedures and processes for the ensure of the bank’s overall complianceMaintains regular and punctual attendanceMaintains a professional approach to both duties and personal behaviorsProjects a friendly and helpful attitude toward customers and bank personnelOrganizes work effectively to meet targeted deadlines with sufficient planning to avoid last minute crunches and used time to the greatest advantageEnsures compliance with all state and federal regulations and internal company policies, including but not limited to BSA / Anti-Money Laundering, Fair Lending, Privacy, and Anti-Discrimination, to the extent each applies to current job responsibilitiesCompletes all online compliance training as assigned within specified due datesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent prior banking experience5+ years of commercial or business banking as a sales or loan officerDemonstrated relationship management experience and solid understanding of commercial banking products and services, including commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, multi-family loans, and applicable business and personal deposit productsPrior experience in credit analysis and/or preparation of credit memorandum for loan approvalsProven sales and business development skillsComputer literacy in Microsoft Office related software, Salesforce, and/or other established Client Management System (CSM)Demonstrated of customer services and relationship focusOrganized with proven self-initiative, self-motivation, and projects positive energy with timely response to opportunities, client requests, and build a business banking loan portfolio and capture business depositsProven articulation and consistency in written and verbal communications with colleagues, clients, prospects and community memberPAE, Portland, Oregon, United States of America#J-18808-Ljbffr
