Summary: As a Sanitation Lead, you will be responsible for implementing sanitation protocols in line with state health and safety
regulations. You will also be required to conduct daily sanitation inspections and oversee staff training.
To be successful as a sanitation lead, you should demonstrate strong leadership skills, detailed knowledge of the food and beverage
industry and good eye for detail. A top-notch lead ensures the manufacturing facility is always up to code and running efficiently.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Training sanitation workers
•Distributing work schedules for the sanitation workers
•Handling, using, and monitoring of chemicals
•Provide direct support to all sanitation issues
•Maintain a clean safe working environment throughout the plant
•Communicate with management on concerns, issues, or etc.
•Preform final inspections of equipment and areas to ensure cleanliness and report any irregularities
•Adhere to company standards and procedures
•Implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities
•Fill out all sanitation documentation
•Delegate work and follow-up to ensure completion
•All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous experience with sanitation
Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook
Familiar with USDA, OSHA, HACCP (Company training) regulations
Excellent people skills ability to be an effective communicator
Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal skills
Teachable, dependable, and able to adapt to changes
Ability to work varied hours/days, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to manage time and people
Willing to perform any and all other duties forthwith assigned
Familiarity with testing equipment and testing procedures.
