A global leader in precision manufacturing, rental, and repair solutions is seeking a CNC Integrex Machinist to program, set up, and operate Mazak Integrex 5-axis CNC machines. The ideal candidate is experienced in machining and programming using Mazatrol and G-code with a solid understanding of GD&T and advanced manufacturing techniques. Working with minimal supervision, the new team member will ensure efficient production by optimizing machining processes and troubleshooting manufacturing challenges while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a collaborative environment.

Location: Houston, TX 77073
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Hours: Night Shift - 4-day work week - Monday through Thursday, Friday and weekends per needed; 4:45 PM - 5:00 AM
Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, operate, and run Mazak Integrex 5-axis CNC Machine using Mazatrol and/or G code program from a drawing which includes a solid understanding of GD&T with little supervision. (Mainly EIA program G and M code).
• Operate machinery and equipment safely.
• Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary to maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Notify supervisory personnel if a nonconforming condition is disclosed.
• Tool proofing of first run jobs and giving feedback to programming to ensure run efficiency and accuracy.
• Set controls of feed, speed, and depth of cut without supervision.
• Understand and apply optimal work-holding techniques.
• Work with other operators as required to ensure optimum setup.
• Analyze and solve manufacturing problems with a high level of skill.
• Follows safety guidelines and procedures established by the company.
• Be able to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and/or calipers.
• Be able to identify non-conforming parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Must be able to set tooling and apply offsets.
• Using tooling and material data the employee must be able to calculate surface footage to machine components.

Requirements:

• Must have 6 years of experience operating and programming a Mazak Integrex 5-axis CNC Machine
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Requires working knowledge of controls and instrumentation, conceptual skills, functional and technical skills, attention to detail, good verbal communication skills, and ability to use good judgment
• API experience preferred
• Extensive Complex Mill and lathe experience
