A trusted leader in delivering advanced test, monitoring, and analytics solutions is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and optimize facility operations, logistics, and technical services. The ideal candidate is an organized and detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background and leadership skills. Working collaboratively, the new leader will enhance operational efficiency by implementing process improvements, managing resources, and guiding teams while ensuring compliance and fostering a positive work environment.
Salary: $80,000-$110,000

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving the team to accomplish the department goals and initiatives. Work closely with other department Managers to optimize results.
- Review and implement employee / employer health and safety measures.
- Support fire prevention and awareness.
- Oversee the management of the service center, optimize repair processes, and ensure quality service for customer products.
- Oversee the management of logistics, including receiving, shipping, customs, and ensuring timely delivery of products using ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Be hands-on and prepared to assist various department tasks, packing, receiving, documents, as needed
- Oversee the facility management (IT support, phones, kitchen supplies, health and safety, office supplies, building, parking lot, maintenance, cleaners, repairs, security system, card access, etc.).
- Support HR by assisting with new employee orientation.
- Regularly appraise / coach / discipline to improve the skill, motivation, knowledge, and attitude of employees as it relates to job performance and their impact on the organization.
- Manage, maintain, and improve the existing ISO9000 system as needed.
- Perform other duties related to service or facility management as may be deemed necessary.
Requirements:
- Balance priorities, good interpersonal skills to inspire and guide others towards goal achievement, great team spirit, initiative, positive attitude, organized, strong sense of quality, and detail oriented
- With strong technical background and having a solid grasp of English, both written and verbal, communication skills
- ISO system management experience is an asset
- Having an engineering degree in electronics or equivalent combined with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the electronics field plus 2 years in management would be an asset to support the service center
- Knowledge of fiber optics or facility management is an asset
- Knowledge of customs and logistics procedures is an asset
