About the job Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
This well-established dermatology practice is seeking a full-time, licensed Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join its team in our Midlothian office. Our practice is dedicated to consistently providing high patient satisfaction by rendering excellent service, quality medical care, and cutting-edge technology. We are seeking an NP/PA who shares in this philosophy. We have an established patient population ready for the right candidate. General Dermatology (knowledge in dermatological disorders, skin cancer / full body checks, abnormal mole, rashes, shave biopsies, excisional / surgical procedures) experience is required.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing patient care independently (under supervision of board-certified dermatologist)
- Documenting patient visits in EMR (eClinicalWorks)
- Prescribing and refilling medications, as needed
The position is structured as follows:
- Full-time or Part-time
- Full-time providers see 120+ patients per week (work 3 to 5 days per week up to you!)
- Monday Friday, no nights or weekends
- No call
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum one-year experience, preferred
- Current Virginia NP or PA License and unencumbered DEA License, required
- Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
- Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation
